As our PROCESS ENGINEER you’ll support HID’s success by:
Summary
Responsible for developing, validating, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Works with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth process integration, conducts LRVT with PIE, trains production teams, and drives continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma.
Other Responsibilities:
Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
Developing manufacturing processes that are applicable to best manufacturing practices and developing those techniques.
Develop and implement manufacturing processes.
Conduct process simulations and feasibility studies.
Assist in the commissioning and validation of new processes.
Analyze and optimize process performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process integration.
Collaborate with PIE to conduct the launch Readiness Verification Test (LRVT) to ensure new product performance and quality standards are met.
Provide training and guidance to production teams and operators on new processes, tools, and technologies.
Apply continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to optimize processes, reduce cycle times, improve yield, and lower operational costs.
Lead or participate in process improvement projects aimed at enhancing overall performance.
Performing other such duties as may be appropriate for this position.
Qualifications
Strong process engineering background.
Good understanding of production / manufacturing equipment and processes.
Good understanding on the improvement tools (Lean tools)
Good interpersonal skill.
Good in problem solving skill.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in any Engineering with minimum 1 year relevant experience.
Good knowledge in process control, DOE, and SPC.
Experience in molding or assembly processes would be an advantage.
Language Skills
Excellent communication skills in English verbally and in writing.
Able to communicate in Malay language.
Computer Skills
Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
Knowledge in Minitab, AutoCAD.

Work Requirements
