Position: Business Development Director
Reporting to: Managing Director

Golden Destinations by ICE HOLIDAYS Sdn Bhd is a leading B2B travel wholesaler in Malaysia, specializing in providing customized travel packages to partners across the ASEAN region.
As the company continues to expand its presence across multiple regions including Sabah, Sarawak, Johor Bahru, Penang, and Singapore, we are seeking a strategic and experienced Business Development Director to join our leadership team.
This role will work closely with the Managing Director to drive business growth and expansion across all company branches while strengthening strategic partnerships and market positioning. The position will also oversee business development strategies for regional branches and support headquarters initiatives as directed by the Managing Director.
This is a full-time onsite position based at ICE HOLIDAYS Sdn Bhd Headquarters in Malaysia, with traveling required to support regional branches and partners.
Job Responsibilities:
Business Development Strategy:
Develop and drive strategic business development initiatives to expand the company’s presence across Sabah, Sarawak, Johor Bahru, Penang, and Singapore branches.
Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to strengthen the company’s regional growth.
Branch Coordination & Support:
Work closely with branch leaders to support and enhance business development strategies and sales initiatives.
Monitor branch performance and provide strategic guidance to ensure sustainable growth.
Strategic Partnerships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate partners, travel agents, and industry stakeholders to expand business opportunities.
Management & HQ Coordination:
Work closely with the Managing Director on strategic planning, business expansion, and special projects.
Based at KL (HQ) and manage business development and any other related operational matters assigned by the Managing Director from time to time when required.
Regional Engagement:
Travel to company branches and key markets when required to support business development initiatives and strengthen regional collaboration.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 8 – 10 years of working experience, preferably in Business Development, Sales Leadership, or Travel Industry management roles.
Strong understanding of B2B travel industry operations and regional market development will be an added advantage.
Must be proficient in English and Malay (spoken, written, and reading). Knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage.
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work closely with senior management and lead cross-regional initiatives.
Highly proactive, independent, and results-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Comfortable working with digital tools, reporting systems, and business analytics.
Willing to travel frequently to regional branches when required (travel allowance will be provided)
