Assembly Engineer

About the role

This is a full-time Assembly Engineer position at SunGrid Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd based in Kulim. As an Assembly Engineer, you will play a vital role in the Mechanical Engineering operations of our company, ensuring the efficient and accurate assembly of our technology products.

What you'll be doing
1. Assemble and test mechanical components and systems according to engineering specifications and drawings

2. Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly-related issues, collaborating with the engineering team to identify and implement solutions

3. Maintain detailed records of the assembly process, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

4. Assist with the development and implementation of new assembly procedures and techniques

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production and delivery of our products

6.Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and quality standards throughout the assembly process

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing role

3. Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills

4. Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity

5. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics

6. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

7. Strong teamwork and communication skills
