Logistic Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-
-To monitor all deliveries and movement from the point of origin to the point of delivery in accordance with company policies and procedures and to ascertain all shipments inbound and outbound are cleared promptly;
-To process Custom clearance, duty and taxes confirmation/exemption for all products inclusive the documents required in shipping and land transportation for all shipment;
-Liaison with Custom Officer regarding LMW or other statutory government bodies on monthly reports, yearly report, scrap report, renewal of licenses and valuation, custom import/export of raw materials finished products, machinery & others;
-Sourcing the most competitive transportation and freight cost from shipping agents and transportation suppliers (Land, Air, Freight and Sea Freight);
-Liaise with forwarding company, shipping lines, transporters as well customs department and governments agencies;
-Maintain the logistic database and assist the preparation of the transportation and distribution statistic for analysis;
-Conduct analysis and report to management on any delay or postponed shipments;
-To ensure shipping document arrangements meet customer satisfaction and assist to prepare shipping documents as and where necessary;
-To monitor container loading as per shipping schedule and liaise closely with warehouse and forwarder on shipment issues;
-Any other task assigned by Management as and when needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:-
-Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree in any field of study;
-Candidate must have at least 5 year(s) of working experiences in the related field is required for this position;
-Applicant must be willing to work in Sungai Lalang, Sungai Petani.
