Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Managing the production operations division and setting up of new production lines.

Capacity Planning - Ensure production departments have sufficient time to manufacture and deliver on time according to the customer’s request.

Planning & Scheduling of staffing needs.

Manage customer order / schedule requirements.

Pre-plan production and deploy a daily prioritized work schedule to with appropriate time deadline targets.

Monitor & review production progress against deadline targets to ensure on time delivery.

Monitor & review manufacturing operations to ensure correct quality standards.

Ensure that all production related activity is time and cost efficient / effective.

Ensure all plant and equipment are well maintained and repaired.

Ensure production/quality processes, equipment being used and the working environments are all conducive to producing a high-quality product / service.

Monitor production activity to ensure that the appropriate manufacturing methods are employed and that sufficient due care is taken in order to meet the customer’s quality specifications.

Ensure rejected product / non-conformance is rectified as high priority.

Establish goals and objectives for self and team and implement.

Comply with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC, HACCP, HALAL and good manufacturing best practice and performance standards.

Maintaining appropriate records in accordance with company procedures.

To undertake all work (existing and/or new) and ad hoc job assignments instructed by the Management.



Job Requirements:

Possess a Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Food Science / Food Technology or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in food manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.

Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.

Knowledge and experience in FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP and HALAL standards.

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.

Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment.

Proficient in data analysis and reporting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
