R&D EXECUTIVE

Job description:

WE ARE HIRING – SENIOR R&D / R&D EXECUTIVE

Location: Bidor, Perak
Salary: RM3,000 – RM4,500 (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities

Execute New Product Development (NPD) projects, including raw material evaluation, formulation, validation, and process improvement.
Develop new product formulations and enhance existing products based on market trends and customer needs.
Ensure product safety, quality, stability, and regulatory compliance before commercialization.
Work closely with FSQMS team on regulatory requirements and food safety compliance (local & export markets).
Conduct lab and factory-scale trials, analyze results, and support product validation.
Prepare product samples, technical documentation, and specifications.
Support production scaling, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes.
Collaborate with QA/QC, Production, Sales & Marketing teams.
Perform sensory evaluation, product testing, and shelf-life validation.
Participate in internal audits and support external audit processes.
Maintain accurate and confidential R&D documentation.

Requirements

Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.
2–5 years experience in food product development (sauces/seasonings preferred) or fresh graduates are welcome.
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, HALAL, FSSC 22000, and BRCGS standards.
Strong understanding of food formulation and processing techniques.
Good communication and report-writing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic lab equipment.
Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
