Safety and Health Officer

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
-Oversee workplace repair, installations, and any other work that could harm employees’ safety.
-Identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions.
-Plan and implement OSH policies and programs.
-Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics.
-Review existing policies and procedures.
-Adhere to all the rules and regulations
-Work with HR to set up a new employee onboarding process for safety.
-Conduct a risk assessment.
-Enforce preventative measures.
-Check if all the employees are acting in adherence to rules and regulations.
-Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes.
-Assists in investigating accidents or injuries that occur in the workplace.
-Assists in the establishment of workplace safety and health committees and monitors their performance.
-Assist in carrying out daily safety duty maintain throughout the entire factory premises.
-Assist in the staff training and/or supervision of new inspectors and development.
-Responsible to issue Safety offense tickets to all employees that fail to meet the Safety & Health rules.
-Responsible for administrative functions such as budget preparation and control, preparation of various reports and documents, processing of legal documents, and personnel management.
-Reviews the work of subordinates to ensure the adequacy of service and to ensure departmental standards are met and policies are carried out.

Jobs Requirements
-Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
-Minimum Three Years’ experience in Occupational Safety and Health.
-Successfully completed a course of training in occupational safety and health and passed any exam for that course and possess Green Book (Manufacturing)
-Possess good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Package.
-Active, work initiative, self-starter, and working independently.
-Good in planning and arrangement of priority of task.
