Service Advisor

The Automotive Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. This role is responsible for understanding customer concerns, preparing repair orders, coordinating with technicians, providing repair recommendations, and ensuring an excellent customer service experience throughout the vehicle service process.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet customers professionally and understand their vehicle concerns and service requirements.
2. Inspect vehicles with customers when necessary and accurately document customer complaints.
3. Prepare repair orders with clear descriptions of the required work.
4. Schedule service appointments and manage workshop capacity efficiently.
5. Coordinate with technicians to obtain accurate diagnoses, repair estimates, and completion timelines.
6. Explain repair recommendations, maintenance requirements, and associated costs to customers.
7. Obtain customer approval before commencing additional repairs.
8. Monitor repair progress and provide customers with regular updates.
9. Arrange vehicle delivery and explain completed repairs and maintenance performed.
10. Process invoices, warranty claims, and service documentation accurately.
11. Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer standards and company policies.
12. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
13. Promote preventive maintenance and value-added services where appropriate.
14. Maintain accurate customer and vehicle service records.
15. Collaborate with the Parts Department, Warranty Department, and Workshop to ensure smooth operations.
