Requirements

Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting roles.
Knowledge of Sales and Service Tax (SST) regulations is an added advantage.
Able to communicate and write in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting systems.
Highly detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
Able to work half day on Saturday (WFH), once or twice a month.
Responsibilities

Coordinate, manage and ensure timely month-end closing of financial accounts.
Handle daily accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) transactions for assigned entities.
Continuously review and improve accounting processes to support business changes and enhance efficiency.
Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between system data and financial records, proactively identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain detailed accounting schedules and reconciliations.
Upload and process electronic invoices (e-invoices) in a timely manner.
Prepare and submit Sales and Service Tax (SST) filings accurately and on schedule.
Ensure all financial documents are complete, properly filed, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Address daily operational accounting issues and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
Compile audit schedules and collaborate with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries as required.
Support corporate tax filing activities and related documentation.
Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the superior.
