Job Scope
-Responsible for the ongoing purchasing and sourcing activities that could generate more cost-saving for the company.
-Perform supplier sourcing, evaluation, assessment and selection, negotiation, performance monitoring, vendor relationship management and continuous improvement for the company.
-Liaise closely with forwarding agencies for all custom-related issues (Export and Import permit application).
-Coordinating shipment delivery and preparing related documents for clearance purpose.
-Resolve material shortages with suppliers to prevent production line down and late delivery to customers.
-Executing the process of application to obtain Duty & Sales Tax Exemption for all import materials.
-Deal with suppliers on any quality issues, products replacement, products sample requests, pricing and etc.
-Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.


REQUIREMENTS:
-Candidates must possess at least diploma, bachelor’s degree, and proven experience in purchasing
-At least 2 years of working experience in the related field preferably in a manufacturing environment.
-Fresh graduate are encourage to apply
-Good verbal & written English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (In order to -liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates).
-Required Skill(s): Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion skills, problem solver and planner with organizational and analytical ability
-Experience in executing Procurement & Sourcing activities.
-Familiar with the customs declaration procedure of import will be an added advantage.
-Independently with minimum supervision and as a team player.
-Experience Microsoft Office.
