Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support the day-to-day Finance operations of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting processes, and ensuring timely processing of transactions.
In addition to Finance responsibilities, the Accounts Executive will provide support for Human Resources and Office Administration functions whenever required, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance & Accounting
· Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
· Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and receipts.
· Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash flow records.
· Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.
· Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
· Support preparation of financial reports, management accounts, and audit schedules.
· Assist with statutory filings, tax submissions, and audit requirements.
· Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on customer payments.
· Verify employee claims, vendor invoices, and reimbursement requests.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.
Human Resources Support
· Assist with recruitment coordination, interview scheduling, and onboarding activities.
· Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
· Support leave administration, attendance tracking, and payroll preparation.
· Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and training programs.
· Ensure proper filing and confidentiality of employee information.
· Provide administrative support for HR-related matters as assigned by the Finance & HR Manager.
· Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
Office Administration
· Manage office supplies, stationery, and general administrative purchases.
· Coordinate office maintenance, facility-related matters, and vendor services.
· Maintain proper filing systems for company records and documents.
· Support meeting arrangements, travel bookings, and administrative logistics.
· Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and government agencies when required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Fresh graduates will be considered and are encouraged to apply.
· Candidates with 1 to 2 years of work experience will also be considered.
· Basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial processes.
· Exposure to accounting software, payroll systems, or HR administration is an advantage.
· Knowledge of Malaysian statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) is an added advantage.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
· Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
· Experience in the IT, software, technology, or digital services industry is an advantage.
