Assistant Finance Manager - Georgetown, Penang

Support preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts

Monitor project budgets, costs and profitability

Monitor cash position, banking facilities due, subcontractor & supplier payments and collections from clients

Accounting oversight: Supervise day to day accounting functions

Assist with audits, compliance and financial controls

Guide finance staff and work closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement and Site Teams

Qualification & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or its equivalent.

At least 5 -10 years of working experience in finance/accounting, preferably in construction industry

Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control

Proficiency in Excel and SQL accounting system

Professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA) is an advantage

Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
