Assoc Supervisor Production (Die Cast)

Supervise and lead operators and line leaders by providing coaching, guidance, training, and corrective actions as necessary, in line with established SOPs and company policies.

Champion safety practices by ensuring compliance with safety protocols, educating staff, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Ensure operators produce quality products efficiently by following job instructions and quality standards.

Monitor and review production and quality performance regularly (e.g., every 2 hours) and address any issues to minimize downtime and achieve production goals.

Plan and organize production schedules to ensure timely delivery while optimizing resources and minimizing waste.

Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve production or quality concerns promptly.

Respond to internal customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and structured manner.

Schedule manpower and machine utilization effectively based on the master schedule provided by the Planning Department.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, small group activities, and application of QC and problem-solving tools to enhance OEE and productivity.

Lead tier meetings and foster effective communication between team members and support departments.

Ensure team adherence to workplace policies, SOPs, and performance expectations, including attendance and discipline.

Compile, analyze, and report production data to management, providing insights and responses to inquiries as needed.

Manage employee performance through evaluation, recognition, feedback, and when necessary, counseling or disciplinary action.

Ensure the department consistently meets KPIs, including safety, quality, output, efficiency, and DSA.

Demonstrate flexibility by supporting other operations, shifts, or weekend work as required.
