Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management and co-ordination of all conventions, meetings, banquets and events, ensuring that event delivery satisfies the customer and add to the Company’s profitability.
- Ability to prepare quotations and confirmation for social events, conferences, catering and banquet, adhering to Clubs revenue management and maximization tools and guidelines and handover to re-active teams (farmer) after agreement seals with booking fee to secure the event.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key account, corporate company, supported members to leverage on new packages coverage and to enhance brand reputation and generate positive publicity and grow customer loyalty. Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
- Planning and implementing competitive sales strategy to drive sales revenue and promoting the brand and product/services to increase revenue. Worked closely with Marcom teams on execute marketing campaigns, including traditional and digital channels, to drive customer acquisition and engagement.
- Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices. Conduct market research to identify customer needs and market trends to align the product/services and market positioning.
- Organizing daily sales call, site inspection and activities to develop, maintain and solicits existing and potential accounts both locally and international with potential for producing business in banqueting event such as conference, meetings and catering.
- Develop lead sources through prospecting, solicitation, referrals, trace files, and cold calls. Conducts site inspections with prospective and existing clients.
- Monitoring event aging weekly and attending monthly meetings with Finance for updated aging to ensure free of debt.
- Identifies operational challenges associated with events and determines how to best work with the internal and external to solve these challenges and/or develop alternative solutions.
- Solicits feedback from the event organizer, collaboration vendors, key account, supported members for better improvement in product/services.
- Updating and monitoring weekly and monthly forecasts to ensure operation teams able to plan ahead and push or create promotion to hit the monthly target.
- Acquiring and developing new business accounts and preparing sales proposals for clients. Closely following up on all business leads within a 24-hour response timeline to clients.


Job Requirements
- Working experience as Banquet Sales in Hospitality industry
- Deliver enthusiastic, positive, helpful and respectful client communication.
- Exhibits strong attention to details, personal organization and time management.
- Possess a diploma/degree in any hospitality-related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years working experience in hospitality/sales background
