Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Purchaser to join our dynamic team at ABANG USEDCAR SDN. BHD. in Puchong, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and sourcing high-quality used vehicles to expand our inventory. Your strategic approach and exceptional sales skills will be integral to the company's continued success.

What you'll be doing

Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to secure new clients and contracts
Negotiate favourable terms and prices when acquiring used vehicles for our inventory
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors and industry partners
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify potential growth areas
Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure a seamless buying and selling experience for customers
Contribute to the development of marketing and promotional campaigns
Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and key performance indicators
What we're looking for

Proven track record of success in new business development, sales or purchasing roles within the automotive industry
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
Strong commercial acumen and the ability to analyse and interpret market data to inform business decisions
Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales-related software
Passion for the automotive industry and a keen eye for identifying high-quality used vehicles
Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
