CAD CAM OPERATOR

What you'll be doing:-

1)Prepare specific technical drawings and drafts using CAD software to ensure efficient and accurate production runs

2)Operate CAD CAM software and machinery to design, programme, and manufacture precision components according to technical specifications and drawings

3)Monitor machine operations during production cycles, making real-time adjustments to ensure quality standards are maintained

4)Inspect finished components for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance, identifying and rectifying any defects or discrepancies

5)Maintain detailed records of production runs, including machine settings, material usage, and quality checks

6)Troubleshoot technical issues with machinery and software, collaborating with maintenance teams when necessary

7)Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standard operating procedures throughout all manufacturing processes

8)Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production progress, delays, and any operational concerns

9)Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity

10)Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and contribute to waste reduction and productivity enhancements

What we're looking for:-

1)Proven experience as a CAD CAM Operator or similar CNC machine operation role within the manufacturing industry

2)Advanced proficiency in CAD software and programming/drafting languages commonly used in precision manufacturing

3)Strong understanding of CNC machinery, tooling, and manufacturing processes

4)Excellent attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately

5)Solid mathematical skills and ability to work with precise measurements and tolerances

6)Competence in quality control and inspection techniques to ensure products meet specification requirements

7)Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

8)Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently

9)Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise multiple production tasks

10)Knowledge of health and safety protocols relevant to manufacturing environments

11)Relevant certifications or qualifications in CAD CAM operation, CAD programming, or manufacturing technology would be advantageous
