Requirements

Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments, providing change, and issuing receipts.
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to scan items, calculate totals, and process various payment methods (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments).
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile discrepancies at the end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are accounted for.
Promote sales by informing customers about current promotions, upselling products, and encouraging repeat business.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for customers.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, security, and customer service.
Responsibilities

Accurately process customer transactions using cash registers and POS systems, handling cash, credit, and debit card payments efficiently and securely.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring adequate supplies are stocked, and equipment is in good working order.
Perform daily cash reconciliation, balancing the cash drawer and preparing bank deposits accurately.
Assist with inventory management tasks, such as receiving and stocking merchandise, and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages.
Promote sales by informing customers of current promotions, upselling products, and encouraging repeat business through loyalty programs.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, security, and customer service.
