Clerk Of Works (Based In Kota Kinabalu)

Responsibilities & Authorities

Ensure contractor to construct according to construction drawings & specification.

Coordinate with various contractors, consultant & authorities on all site matters.

To inspect & monitor at all times each stage of construction work including piling, structural, architectural works, mechanical & electrical works, external works & infrastructure works.

Attend all site meeting & verify progress report.

To coordinate with consultants and project manager & highlight foreseeable problems for action & to ensure delivery of high-quality workmanship.

Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.



Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Architect Engineer or equivalent.

Registered as Inspector-Of-Works (IOW) with Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM).

At least 5 year(s) of working experience in related field preferably in supervision of architectural works and high rise projects

Preferable consulting office experience.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Proficient in written & spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

High level of attention to detail.

Must possess own transport.

Available vacancy in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, but required to travel to other district of Sabah.
