CNC PROGRAMMER

The job:

• Develop, write, and modify CNC programs for production machines based on technical drawings, specifications, and 3D models.

• Collaborate with the design, engineering, and fabrication teams to interpret blueprints and create accurate production parts.

• Collaborate with operators to set up and calibrate machinery before production runs, ensuring proper tools and materials are used.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to CNC machine operation and programming.

• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure that parts meet design specifications and tolerances.

• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize machine downtime.

• Run CNC Machine when needed or when operator is not available.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new CNC programming techniques, and advancements in machining technologies.

• Maintain and follow safety protocols, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.

The person:

• Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or related field.

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, AutoCAD), G-code programming, Router CNC, Laser CNC, and Fusion.

• Experience with various materials (e.g., metals, plastics, wood) and familiarity with their machining properties.

• Basic Knowledge CNC machining principles.

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
