Construction Civil Engineer

Requirements

Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction civil engineering, demonstrating a practical understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
Proficiency in construction management, site supervision, and civil engineering principles, with a proven ability to apply these skills effectively on-site.
Strong understanding of quality control procedures and the ability to implement and maintain quality standards throughout the construction process.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capacity to identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during construction.
Demonstrated ability in project planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, enabling effective communication with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating self-motivation, discipline, and effective time management skills to meet project deadlines and objectives.
Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards in Muar, ensuring compliance and adherence to legal requirements throughout the construction process.
Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
Conduct site inspections and surveys to assess existing conditions and identify potential challenges, providing recommendations for effective solutions.
Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities and resolve technical issues.
Monitor construction progress and quality control, ensuring that work is performed in accordance with approved plans and specifications.
Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
Support the implementation of safety protocols and procedures on construction sites, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
