Contract Managers

Client is an international Project Management Consultancy (PMC) and is hiring for multiple Contract Managers for data centre construction projects in JB/KL/Cyberjaya (either 1 location).



Contract Managers (Data Centre Construction Projects)

-Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Contract Managers with background in construction of data centre projects. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in managing contracts, overseeing project budgets, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Project management experience is a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

-Collaborate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful contracting strategies and contractual performance.

-Navigate complex procurement processes and manage contracts, including negotiating terms, mitigating contractual risks, and ensuring compliance.

-Oversee cost estimation, budgeting, and monitoring expenditures to ensure financial viability of projects.

-Provide expert opinion and critical challenge on contractual change and variations, providing timely and accurate recommendations to the sponsor.

-Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers to extract full value from contractual agreements.

-Manage multidisciplinary contractual parties, particularly in MEP systems.

Qualifications:

-Minimum - Bachelor's degree in Contract Management, Quantity Surveying/Construction Management, or a related field.

-7-10 years of experience in contract management, with a focus on commercial management in construction and data centre construction projects.

-Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

-Proven ability to manage project budgets and procurement processes.
