Corporate Recovery Manager

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Recovery Manager to join our growing practice. This is a full-time position based in Kuala Lumpur.

Key responsibilities
1. Insolvency Administration: Oversee formal insolvency mechanisms such as liquidations, receiverships, judicial management, and schemes of arrangement.
2. Financial & Business Review: Analyze client forecasts, cash flow projections, and business operations to identify the root causes of financial distress.
3. Restructuring Strategy: Develop turnaround plans, recommend cost-reduction strategies, and assist in restructuring balance sheets or refinancing.
4. Stakeholder Management: Negotiate with directors, shareholders, bankers, legal counsel, and creditors to execute debt restructuring or asset disposal.

What we're looking for

Professional accounting qualification such as CA (Chartered Accountant Malaysia), ACCA or equivalent accounting recognised qualification
1. Minimum 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in corporate recovery .
2. Strong time management and project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and professional judgment
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin/Cantonese.
