Country Manager, Malaysia

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Country Manager to lead and expand our operations in Malaysia. Based in Malacca, the successful candidate will oversee business development, sales growth, operational management, customer relationships, and team leadership to strengthen the company’s presence and performance in the Malaysian market.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

Develop and execute strategic business plans to grow the company’s market presence in Malaysia.

Identify new business opportunities, key accounts, and industry partnerships.

Drive sales performance and achieve revenue and profitability targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and strategic partners.

Lead commercial negotiations, quotations, and contract discussions.

Operational & Management Oversight

Oversee daily operations of the Malaysia office and ensure efficient business processes.

Coordinate closely with regional headquarters and cross-functional teams.

Ensure timely execution of projects, customer support, and service activities.

Monitor operational performance, budgets, and resource allocation.

Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop the Malaysia team to achieve company objectives.

Foster a positive, high-performance, and collaborative working culture.

Set clear KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews.

Support recruitment, training, and staff development initiatives.

Customer & Market Management

Maintain strong customer engagement and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.

Represent the company at customer meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.

Strengthen brand presence and business reputation within the industry.

Financial & Compliance Responsibilities

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for Malaysia operations.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

Work closely with finance and management teams on reporting and business planning.
