Data Analyst

We are looking for a data-driven analyst to support store operations through reporting, performance analysis, and forecasting. The role involves managing data in Excel, creating dashboards (Power BI/Tableau a plus), and providing actionable insights to improve sales, inventory, and business planning. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for working across teams and driving data-informed decisions.

Job Responsibilities：

Data Processing & Reporting

Efficiently manage and analyze operational data using Excel, and prepare standardized reports;

Perform in-depth analysis using pivot tables, formulas, and functions;

Create visual dashboards with Power BI or Tableau (an advantage).

Store Operations Analysis

Conduct multi-dimensional analysis of store performance, including:

Sales performance and average transaction value

Product assortment and category contribution

Inventory turnover efficiency

Year-on-year / month-on-month trend analysis

Inventory-to-sales ratio health check

Identify challenges and growth opportunities, and provide recommendations to the operations team.

Forecasting & Trend Analysis

Use historical data, combined with holidays, promotional campaigns, and market trends, to forecast sales performance and inventory requirements;

Provide forward-looking data support to assist in business planning and inventory optimization.

Business Support & Communication

Translate complex data into clear, concise reports and actionable insights;

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, merchandising, stores) to support business decision-making.

Job Requirements：

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields preferred;

Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, functions, formulas) with strong analytical skills;

Strong logical thinking, data sensitivity, and ability to perform independent data analysis;

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to clearly present findings;

At least 1 year of relevant experience in data analysis or retail operations analysis preferred.

Preferred Qualifications：

Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools;

Previous experience in retail, chain stores, or FMCG data analysis;

Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R for data processing and predictive analysis
