Data Analyst (Hire Purchase)

Key Responsibilities
-Develop a deep understanding of the Hire Purchase business to build and maintain a robust data support system.
-Define data standards, design metrics and optimize data products tailored to specific business scenarios.
-Independently prepare comprehensive data analysis reports, collaborating closely with Sales, Operations and Product teams to provide performance evaluation and actionable insights.
-Prepare regular management reports (daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual) to provide timely insights on business performance and trends.
-Design budget analysis templates and build data models to perform calculations, document findings, and support strategic decision-making.

Job Requirement
-Minimum 2 years of experience in data operations, analysis or related fields.
-Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or a related discipline is preferred.
-Fluency in English, Malay & Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
-Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel functions.
-Familiarity with common statistical or algorithmic methods used in data analysis.
-Exposure to fintech or finance-related data is a plus.
