What You'll Do: -
Strategy & Planning Support:
Assist in developing business strategies, annual plans and performance targets.
Support translation of strategy into action plans, KPIs, and tracking execution.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and benchmarking.
Prepare inputs for management presentations and strategic papers.
Business Development:
Support identification and evaluation of new business opportunities, partnerships, and concepts.
Assist in preparing business proposals, feasibility studies, and presentations.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on partnership discussions and initiatives.
Track and manage pipeline of growth opportunities.
Investigate and assess data and information related to an MESRA Business review in order to support the assessments and recommendations of the review.
Transformation, Project & Initiative Support:
Support execution of strategic and transformation initiatives with measurable impact.
Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
Coordinate across functions (Operations, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain) to ensure progress.
Maintain project documentation and reporting.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise with internal teams and external partners to support strategy and business development efforts
Assist in preparing materials for management, CEO, and Board discussions
Ensure alignment and timely follow-up on key action items
Ad-Hoc Support:
Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as directed by the immediate superior.
Education & Experience:
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree Business Administration, Economic, Finance or any other related fields.
Minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience in strategy, planning or Business Development role.
Experience in retail, FMCG, or commercial environment is an advantage.
Exposure to financial analysis and business case development.
Adept multi-tasker with ability to quickly prioritize and effectively delegate tasks.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Independent, initiative, problem solving skills and able to work under minimum supervision.
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
Working Conditions:
Office-based role, typically Monday to Friday, standard office hours.
Regular engagement with cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Commercial, Operations and Risk.
Periodic domestic travel for business reviews, site visits and strategic alignment sessions.
High analytical and cognitive demand due to complexity of business modelling and scenario planning.
Tight deadlines during Business Plan, Budget and Mid-Term Review cycles.
Frequent presentations to Leadership and Corporate forums.
Requirement to handle confidential and commercially sensitive information.
Advisory authority on strategic direction and investment prioritization.
