Job Description

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Territory Management

Conduct regular sales calls and product detailing to doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals in government hospitals and healthcare facilities

Drive sales growth and achieve targets for LPO, MOH Tender, and Pharmaniaga APPL business

Manage assigned territories across Sabah and selected Sarawak regions (Miri & Bintulu)

2. Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, specialists, pharmacists, purchasing officers, and hospital personnel

Develop customer profiles and strengthen engagement with key stakeholders

Identify and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) within the territory

3. Tender & Business Support

Follow up on tenders, LPOs, and Lampiran Q documentation

Coordinate with hospitals and relevant departments on stock availability, lead times, and order fulfilment

Prepare quotations and support tender-related activities

4. Product Promotion & Market Development

Organize and participate in CMEs, RTDs, exhibitions, blitz activities, and medical events

Promote existing and new products in alignment with company strategies

Highlight products listed in the Blue Book and encourage product inclusion in tenders and LPO listings

5. Reporting & Market Intelligence

Submit daily sales reports, itineraries, customer profiling, and coverage reports through the company system

Conduct market surveys and monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies

Provide market feedback and recommendations to management and marketing teams

Key Accounts Coverage
You will manage and service key government healthcare institutions including:

Hospital Queen Elizabeth I

Hospital Queen Elizabeth II

Hospital Wanita & Kanak-Kanak Sabah

Hospital Duchess of Kent

Hospital Miri

Hospital Bintulu

Requirements
Qualifications

Degree or tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Science, Pharmacy, Medical, or related field

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales environment

Experience handling government hospitals or tender business is an added advantage

Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

Good interpersonal and relationship-building abilities

Able to work independently and manage assigned territories effectively

Strong sales drive and customer-oriented mindset

Organized and systematic working approach

Technical Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Possess own transport and valid driving license
