Position Summary
OSS Technics Sdn. Bhd. is a growing engineering services company specializing in PCB manufacturing equipment, automation solutions, networking systems, and Industry 4.0 technologies. In recent years, we have expanded our focus beyond traditional equipment support to provide advanced automation and smart manufacturing solutions to our customers. We are also the exclusive authorized service provider and distributor for several OEM partners, supporting customers with technical expertise, spare parts, and after-sales services.
Comprehensive product training, including overseas training opportunities, will be provided. This role offers excellent exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies and the opportunity to grow alongside a dynamic and expanding company.
-Key Responsibilities
Equipment Installation & Commissioning
Perform equipment installation, setup, testing, and commissioning at customer facilities.
Conduct machine hook-up, calibration, alignment, and operational verification.
Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
Assist customers during equipment startup and production ramp-up.
-Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, vacuum, and control system issues.
Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Carry out machine upgrades, modifications, and retrofit activities as required.
-Customer Support
Provide technical support and consultation to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
Deliver basic operational and maintenance training to customer personnel.
Maintain professional relationships with customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Respond promptly to service requests and emergency breakdown situations.
-Supplier & Internal Coordination
Liaise with equipment manufacturers and suppliers for technical support and spare parts requirements.
Coordinate with internal engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Participate in technical discussions, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
-Health, Safety & Compliance
Comply with all company safety policies and customer site regulations.
Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a safe working environment during all service activities.
-Job Requirements
-Education
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
-Experience
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance or field service support is preferred.
Experience in PCB, semiconductor, automation, SMT, or manufacturing equipment will be an added advantage.
-Technical Skills
Basic knowledge of PLC systems, sensors, motors, drives, pneumatics, and vacuum systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
Familiarity with industrial automation and machine troubleshooting techniques.
Knowledge of networking, automation systems, or Industry 4.0 technologies will be an added advantage.

Proficient in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and team members.
-Other Requirements
Possess a valid driving license and own transportation.
Willing to travel within Malaysia and overseas when required.
Able to work independently, under pressure, and outside normal working hours when necessary.
