Finance Executive / Senior Finance Executive - Rawang

What you'll be doing:
-Manage the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing processes.
-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
-Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support the retail business’s financial planning.
-Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring timely payments, collections, and cash reconciliation for retail outlets.
-Work closely with the retail team to reconcile inventory balances, track stock levels, and analyze variances.
-Analyze and track expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities where possible and monitoring adherence to budgets.
-Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including preparation and submission of GST/SST and other statutory requirements.
-Prepare audit schedules and work with external auditors during annual audits.
-Maintain the accounting system (ERP) and improve reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
-Implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and reporting.

What we're looking for:
-Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in full set accounting, preferably within the retail industry.
-Proficient in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
-Familiarity with inventory management, cost accounting, and handling of retail transactions.
-Good understanding of GST/SST regulations and other relevant tax laws.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
-Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-Flexible and open to handling new responsibilities as needed.
