Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:
-Leadership & Operations: Lead and oversee the finance team managing day-to-day operations across multiple entities, including financial and management reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
-Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements, as well as monthly reporting packages to Regional HQ (RHQ).
-Audit & Taxation: Manage year-end statutory audits, liaise with external auditors, and ensure compliance with tax regulations (corporate income tax, SST, property tax). Handle transfer pricing documentation and respond to tax authority queries.
-Business Partnering: Collaborate with Business Unit Heads and Operations teams to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Provide financial insights to drive operational efficiency, cost control, and business performance.
-Regional Collaboration: Work closely with RHQ finance teams to align local and regional financial strategies, driving growth and ensuring consistency in reporting and governance.
-Budget Monitoring: Oversee financial and capital expenditure (CapEx) budgets, ensuring adherence to targets and proactive variance analysis.
-Team Development: Mentor and develop finance team members to ensure high performance, accuracy, and professional growth. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
-Ad Hoc Projects: Undertake additional assignments or projects as required by management.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA) highly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Proven track record in multinational or manufacturing/factory operations environments.
• Strong knowledge of multi-entity consolidation, IFRS, Malaysian Accounting Standards (MFRS), and local tax regulations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Fluency in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken) is essential to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
