Finance Manager

Requirements

Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is mandatory.
Ability to work independently is mandatory.
Able to lead and work independently, and mentor subordinates.
Strong analytical and planning skills as well as problem solving with strong financial judgement.
Experience in liaising with senior bankers on funding requirements & project accounting.
Must have strong background in application of financing packages for projects.
Good organizer, ability to prioritize workload and work within tight deadlines.
Experience in transitioning departments into digitalization of company is an advantage.
Qualification


Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree with major in Accounting & Finance or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy Management, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
At least 8-10 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferred Charted Account is an advantage.
Required Language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English AND Mandarin
Responsibilities

FINANCE MANAGER (JD)

Accounting & Finance Operations

Responsible for timely and accurate closing of monthly accounts, inclusive of general ledgers, as well as to monitor daily accounts and finance operational activities.
Provide complete and accurate reports submission (on both regular and ad-hoc basis), which is inclusive of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and costing, variation reports to projections and actuals, as well as all other transactions and documentations.
Ability to manage international inter-related companies accounts and finance books.
To deliver and manage the entire spectrum of accounting including AP/AR/GL/FA and finance functions.
Ability to develop and monitor performance of department through KPIs.
Statutory Accounts

To liaise and lead with Auditor, Tax Agent & Government regulators to ensure timeline of submission of accounts internally to management and externally to Government agencies.
To review and lead on improving SOPs and ensure compliance.
To lead and to solve any accounting related matters for the companies assigned, particularly on inter-related company transactions.
To ensure compliance with the latest accounting standards, taxation regulations and company’s internal policies.
Ability to provide reports, recommendations and solutions to CEO on options to consider.
Cash Flow Management

Sound experience in cash flow budgeting and company forecasts/projections.
Responsible to ensure accuracy and sufficient funds for the company assigned to, by liaising with the CEO and internal department Heads.
Liaise and lead with bankers, financiers for banking facility matters independently.
Responsible in compilation of information and data for banking matters, and monitor cash inflow and outflow diligently.
Liaise and lead in conjunction with other Department Heads to take up feasibility studies, for proposed projects company wish to take on.
