Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
Oversee full spectrum of finance functions including GL, AP, AR, and financial reporting

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Consolidate financial reports across multiple entities and business units

Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance

Budgeting & Strategic Planning
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decision-making

Partner with senior management to align financial strategies with company growth plans

Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and accounting standards

Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and risk management practices

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory bodies

Cost Control & Business Performance
Monitor cost structures, margins, and profitability across operations

Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements

Support pricing strategies and financial modelling for new business initiatives

Team Leadership & Process Improvement
Lead and develop finance team to ensure high performance and accountability

Drive digitalisation and process improvements in finance operations

Enhance reporting systems and financial workflows

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CA preferred)

Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in managerial role

Strong experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or export-oriented business is highly preferred

Solid knowledge of financial reporting standards, taxation, and compliance

Experience handling multi-entity or regional finance operations is an advantage

Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
