About the role

Nestlé Malaysia is seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in Shah Alam, Selangor. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the machinery and equipment that is essential to our manufacturing operations. What you'll be doing

Perform routine maintenance on a variety of industrial machinery and equipment

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with machinery, and carry out necessary repairs

Ensure machinery is operating safely and efficiently

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements

Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities

Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards

What we're looking for

Formal training or qualifications in Fitting, Machining or a related Trades discipline

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

Strong working knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment, including motors, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
