As an Assistant Consultant - Green Building you will be the Builder: you help develop and scale practical sustainability deliverables by supporting site surveys, technical assessments and certification submissions, and by preparing clear reports and client materials that move projects forward.

Consultant/ Assistant Consultant – Green Building

Job Duties:
• Consultants and assistant consultants shall support and coordinate the team to complete green building projects
• Conduct computational modelling to quantify features of passive design for buildings including natural ventilation, thermal comfort, daylight, solar irradiation and etc.
• Conduct whole building energy simulation to quantify features of active design for buildings
• Prepare professional consultancy reports, proposal or presentation upon different settings of engagements in acoustics, environmental assessments, sustainability consultancy and green building certifications
• Carry out site survey, inspections and measurements to obtain information for meeting specific project requirements
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements:
• Degree holder in architecture/ engineering/ science related to building, civil & environmental, sustainability, building services, mechanical & electrical or equivalent
• Minimum years of working experience: C: 3 years; AC: 1 year.
• With Computer modelling experience in building physics is an advantage (e.g. AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Ladybug tools, CFD models, IESVE, eQuest and etc.)
• Knowledge and experience of GreenRE, GBI, LEED, WELL, BREEAM, CGBL and BEAM Plus. Candidates with professional qualifications would be an advantage.
• Candidates with more in-depth and relevant working experience could be considered for senior roles
• Strong customer relationship in liaising with clients
• Strong problem solving skills and negotiation skills
• Ability to undertake interdisciplinary technical work and able to work under pressure in a fast work environment
• Excellent skills in written and verbal communication (English, Chinese and Mandarin)
