Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Shariah/Islamic Studies, Quality Assurance, or related
fields.
Knowledge of MS1500:2019 (Halal Standards in Malaysia) and JAKIM procedures (or
relevant regional standards).
Experience in halal assurance, quality control, or regulatory compliance (F&B,
manufacturing, or retail preferred).
Strong understanding of halal food handling, supply chain, and certification processes.
Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (Arabic is an advantage).
Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work with cross-functional teams.
岗位职责
- Ensure sustainability in food safety and Halal compliance.
- Liaise with government regulatory bodies to obtain or maintain Halal and other relevant
certifications.
- Develop and implement process flows, standard operating procedures, risk assessments, and
other requirements to comply with food safety, Halal, and quality standards.
- Arrange and conduct external audits (e.g., suppliers and third-party manufacturing).
- Arrange and conduct internal audits to comply with food safety and Halal standards.
- Manage audits from 2nd and 3rd parties.
- Document and report product or service quality levels.
- Communicate with other team members to solve problems.
- Cross-check pre-operation production cleaning.
- Ensure Halal assurance system (HAS) requirements are implemented and maintained at all
stages of production.
- Conduct regular internal Halal inspections and prepare compliance reports.
- Coordinate with the Halal Committee to review, update, and resolve Halal-related matters.
- Monitor raw materials, ingredients, processing aids, and packaging to ensure compliance
with Halal standards.
- Provide training and awareness programs to staff on Halal requirements and guidelines.
- Liaise with suppliers to verify Halal certification validity and compliance.
- Assist in handling Halal certification applications, renewals, and documentation with
certification bodies (e.g., JAKIM).
- Perform any other duties assigned by superior from time to time.
