HAULAGE CONTROLLER - FM PORT KLANG [HAULAGE DEPARTMENT]

Haulage Controller Job Scope
1. Transport Planning and Scheduling
Plan and allocate vehicles, drivers, and routes efficiently.
Schedule deliveries, collections, or material transfers based on customer or project requirements.
Optimize routes to reduce fuel costs and improve turnaround times.
Adjust plans in real-time to handle delays, breakdowns, or emergencies.

2. Operations Coordination
Liaise with drivers, customers, warehouse staff, and interco teams.
Ensure correct loading and unloading of materials.
Track vehicle movements using GPS or fleet management systems.
Monitor driver hours to comply with legal and safety regulations.

3. Documentation and Compliance
Prepare transport documents such as delivery notes, manifests, and waybills.
Ensure compliance with transport laws (e.g., weight limits, vehicle safety, and environmental regulations).
Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel, and maintenance.

4. Customer and Stakeholder Communication
Act as the main point of contact for internal team regarding haulage schedules and updates.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and delivery confirmations.
Coordinate with third-party logistics providers when needed.
