Infra and DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Infra & DevOps Engineer to support on-premise infrastructure and DevOps operations for OpenText AppWorks BPM environments. The role focuses on maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting infrastructure stability, and enabling application deployments using DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Bitbucket. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in on-prem DevOps environments and exposure to BPM platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of OpenText AppWorks BPM environments
Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
Perform infrastructure support in on-premise environments (non-cloud)
Manage source control and versioning using Bitbucket
Develop and maintain scripts using Bash and Windows batch scripting
Support application deployments and environment setup activities
Work with MS SQL Server for basic database support and troubleshooting
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth releases
Monitor system performance and assist in incident resolution
Required Skills:

3-5 years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure support roles
Hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines (mandatory)
Strong experience in on-prem DevOps environments (non-cloud)
Experience with OpenText AppWorks BPM infrastructure
Proficiency in scripting (Bash and Windows batch scripting)
Experience with Bitbucket for source control management
Basic SQL knowledge with MS SQL Server experience
Understanding of Java, JavaScript, and SQL (supporting role usage)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in infrastructure environments

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to IBM Datacap, BPM, Case Manager, BAW, or FileNet
Understanding of business process management (BPM) concepts
Experience supporting enterprise workflow or case management systems
Familiarity with release management and ITIL processes
Basic knowledge of application monitoring and logging tools
Exposure to Agile or DevOps delivery methodologies
