Internship Data Analyst

Job Description
The Data Analyst Intern will support the organization and their supervisor in making data-driven decisions by assisting in the mining and analysis of social listening and marketing data. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to learn about media trends, consumer behaviour, and data analytics in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in data and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Data Mining & Analysis: Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing business and marketing data to identify trends and opportunities.
Market Research and Insights: Support research on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights.
Reporting: Help prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
Tool Utilization: Learn and utilize media intelligence tools, analytics platforms, and data visualization software to contribute to data insights.
Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and tasks, providing support as needed.
Job Requirements
Qualifications

Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Economics, or a related field. Other graduates with keen interest in marketing and communication are welcome to apply.
Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python), media intelligence platforms (e.g., Meltwater, Brandwatch), or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is an added advantage.
Analytical Skills: Strong interest in data analysis and problem-solving, with a willingness to learn how to interpret and apply data insights.
Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences. Mandarin and Bahasay Melayu skills are an added advantage.
Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and detail orientation in handling data and tasks.
Team Player: Enthusiasm for collaborating in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
