Jnr DBA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in database administration, deployment, and maintenance for Oracle, MySQL, and MariaDB.

Support database backup, recovery, and security implementation.

Troubleshoot database performance and connectivity issues.

Develop and optimize SQL queries and Unix scripts for automation and efficiency.

Monitor database performance, availability, and integrity.

Work with senior engineers on issue resolution and system enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in database administration or support.

Hands-on experience with Oracle, MySQL, and MariaDB (experience with Sybase is a plus).

Strong skills in SQL scripting, Unix shell scripting, and troubleshooting database issues.

Basic understanding of database security, backups, and performance tuning.

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and collaborate with teams."
