LOGISTICS EXECUTIVE

Job Summary
The Logistics Executive is responsible for coordinating and managing daily logistics operations, including transportation planning, delivery scheduling, documentation, and close coordination with internal teams, transporters, and customers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound deliveries to ensure timely execution.

Liaise with transporters, freight forwarders, and warehouse teams to arrange daily deliveries and collections.

Prepare, verify, and maintain logistics-related documents such as delivery orders, consignment notes, permits, and shipping documents.

Monitor delivery schedules, track shipments, and proactively resolve any delivery issues or delays.

Coordinate closely with production, sales, and planning teams to align delivery schedules with operational requirements.

Control logistics costs by optimizing delivery routes, load planning, and transporter utilization.

Maintain accurate logistics records, reports, and documentation.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and relevant regulatory standards.

Handle customer and transporter inquiries related to delivery status and logistics arrangements.

Support ad-hoc logistics and operational tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience in logistics or transportation coordination.

Familiarity with local transportation regulations and logistics documentation.

Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Ability to communicate in Mandarin is preferred, as the role involves coordination with Mandarin-speaking customers or transporters.

Experience in manufacturing or construction-related logistics is an added advantage.
