Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

To ensure uninterrupted electrical supply and support production operations by maintaining LV, MSB, DB, Sub-DB distribution systems and machine mechanical & electrical components. The chargeman is responsible for fault response, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting & breakdown support and general duties.



Job Descriptions:

Preventive Maintenance

Monitor and record electrical parameters including voltage, current, solar generation and energy consumption. Insert those collected data to OAS ST monthly report.

Ensure all ACB/MCCB at LV, MSB, DB, Sub-DB, OC-EF panels are operating normally without abnormal tripping or condition.

Check load distribution to prevent overloading of feeders.

Ensure LV room, MSB, DB, Sub-DB, All control panels ventilation systems are functioning and temperature is within safe limits.

Conduct routine inspection and cleaning for overheating, abnormal noise or burning smell.

Inspect and tighten cable terminations, busbars and breakers.

Perform factory electrical works such as lighting replacement, wiring and installation.

Troubleshooting & Breakdown support

Attend to mechanical or electrical problem to machine breakdown by repairing or replacing faulty components.

Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment to identify the root causes of the problem and implement effective repairs on Production machinery (automation systems), general facilities and utilities.

Recognizes and corrects potential equipment failure or unsafe conditions and communicates this to Maintenance Manager.

Performs preventative maintenance per defined interval/schedule in a timely manner, documents maintenance concerns and providing action plans and status reports as needed.

Ensure machine electrical systems are stable to support continuous 24/7 operation.

General Duties

Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment manuals.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Plumbing, Welding, mechanical & electrical works for factory and office.

Carry out any ad hoc task assigned by management.



Job Requirements:

Good knowledge in electrical wiring especially 3-phase systems (PW4 above).

Must have Chargeman Certificate (A0 and above) available.

Basic computer skills (MS office)

Able to work independently with strong organizing skills

Preferably local talent nearby to Bandar Enstek

Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed
