Mandarin Teacher

Requirements

Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Language, Education, Linguistics, or related field.
Preferably Mandarin candidates.
At least 2 years of teaching experience in Mandarin language (Fresh graduates with strong proficiency are encouraged to apply).
Passionate about teaching and working with children/teenagers.
Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with online teaching tools and modern teaching methodologies.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging Mandarin language lessons for primary level students, aligning with the school's alternative education philosophy.
Create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that fosters student participation and encourages the development of Mandarin language skills.
Plan, prepare, and deliver Mandarin lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students can access and understand the material.
Assess student progress through regular assignments, quizzes, and projects, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement in Mandarin language proficiency.
Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the specific needs of students and the requirements of the school's academic program.
Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive and productive learning environment, addressing any behavioral issues promptly and fairly.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate Mandarin language learning into interdisciplinary projects and activities.
Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in Mandarin language education, participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
