The position is based in our Penang Office in Malaysia.



Job Overview

Manage each project from pre to post event set-ups, including marketing and out-reach programs to enhance traffic flow of the Straits Quay Mall.



Key Responsibilities

Responsible in organizing mall events from planning to execution (pre-publicity/ set-ups/ on-going/ post) and work within targeted revenue/ approved expense
Keep abreast with industry trends and organize new and bespoke events
Promote and liaise with tenants and exhibitors to organize marketing events
Liaise with relevant authorities for events’ approval
Source and work with the suppliers and contractors to execute marketing events and promotional activities
Maintain liaison with media to promote events and activities to drive traffic flow
Responsible to handle invitation/ release/ relationships and general comments and feedback from different channels
To plan, implement and monitor the mall’s digital platforms including social media to create brand awareness, promote marketing efforts and exposures
Achieve set target of monthly income for mall wide
Undertake any other ad-hoc accounting assignment required by superior


Requirements

A Diploma in any related discipline
A minimum of 2-3 years working experience in marketing/ event management
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Possess social media and digital marketing skills
Pleasant personality, good communication and interpersonal skills
Possess event organizing skills
