MECHANICAL ENGINEER (RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT)

Role Overview: As a Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for designing and developing new product structure and internal assembly from conceptualization to mass production. You will work closely with electrical and software teams to ensure seamless integration of all components, focusing on durability, manufacturability, and user experience. Your key responsibilities will include:

Create detail design of mechanical structure in 3D data for new Yamaha audio products including plastic part, metal part, packaging, etc.

Make detail mechanical drawing of designed parts according to requirements.

Produce and evaluate prototype to ensure product specifications are met.

Analyse mechanical related problem and propose appropriate solutions.

Collaborate with procurement team and suppliers to fabricate tooling and produce mechanical part for mass production.

Performing mechanical verification tests according to products specifications.

Manage schedules and resources by monitoring project progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
