Mold Technician

1. Preventive Maintenance
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on moulds and injection molding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Lubricate moving parts, clean mould surfaces, and check for wear or damage.

2.Troubleshooting & Repairs
Identify and diagnose mould defects such as cracks, corrosion, flash, or misalignment.
Perform timely repairs or coordinate with toolmakers for complex mould refurbishments.

3.Mould Setup & Adjustment
Assist in mould installation, alignment, and calibration on injection molding machines.
Adjust mould parameters to meet production specifications and improve product quality.

4. Spare Parts Management
Maintain inventory of spare parts and tooling components for mould repairs.
Recommend procurement of replacement parts as necessary.

5. Collaboration & Documentation
Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to address mould-related issues.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and downtime.

6. Safety Compliance
Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures during maintenance tasks.
Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of moulds.

Requirement:
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings
