Repair and maintenance

Carry out general repairs and maintenance at assigned stores or tickets

General repair and maintenance cover scope of work such as

Plumbing work such as fixtures replacement, fixing leaks and clogging

Electrical work such as lighting replacement, plug point replacement and installations of new units

Basic civil work such as patching and painting of walls, ceilings, repair/touch up of tiles, pest proofing works

Carpentry works such as repair of doors, furniture and fixtures

Schedule work such as replacement of water filter



Spare part/equipment/tools management

Responsible to take good care on the spare part and reconcile into system timely

Responsible to maintain and upkeep company vehicle and tools provided for the purpose to carry out work



Job management

Responsible to ensure update job completion into CMMS system timely

Escalate to BMC if face challenges at site while carry out work



Ad-hoc duties

Carry out other ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned by superior



Working Conditions

Normal working hours (8.00am to 5.00pm)

5.5 working days a week

Rotational shift (no fix off days)

Requirements:

At least 5 years’ experience as a handyman

Knowledge of mechanical/electrical components

Good communication skills and customer service skills

Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Required to travel within the managed area as when necessary

Able to take up phone call off working hours as when required

Experience in managing maintenance for large number of sites (approximately >200 sites) is an added advantage
