Planning Executive (Mandarin Speaker) - Sungai Bakap

Requirement :
· Degree or diploma in Production, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or inventory management
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Proficient in using ERP systems, spreadsheets, and other planning/scheduling software
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
· Familiarity with the manufacturing or steel industry would be an advantage
· Mandarin speaker is a significant advantage to engage with Chinese clients
· Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Responsibility :

Planning functions
A. Responsibility and Authority
· Planning & Material Control Officer (PMCO) shall be responsible for the Production Planning by coordinating the day-to-day planning of production assembly with sales orders.
· Review the material process-flow and prepare a master schedule for the production assembly of the finish goods.
· Work closely with Shipping (Import Dept) and request to put up an order for required raw materials.
· Trains, develops, guidance and motivate all direct subordinates in the Planning & Material Control (PMC) department.
· The Planning & Material Control Officer (PMCO) shall be responsible at all times, to observe and to carry out faithfully and conscientiously the duties and responsibilities that are assigned to you by superior or above.

Inventory Control (including Store and Logistics) functions

B. Responsibility and Authority
· Planning & Material Control Officer (PMCO) shall responsible for the material inventory control of the Company and to ensure the monthly inventory stock-taking is accurately balance between the physical goods and the MRP system.
· Ensure that the Company inventory is maintained at optimized level to support production operation for meeting the customer orders and delivery deadlines.
· Improvement of slow moving stock inventory.
· Overseeing the transportation of lorries/vehicles arrangement for shipment of finished goods and raw materials.
· Guide and lead in the safekeeping of all materials in the Store.
