Product Engineering Manager

Description

Lead and mentor Product and Test Engineers to deliver robust engineering and technical solutions
Drive cost, productivity and quality targets in line with equipment and product roadmaps
Manage section budget, headcount and resources to ensure cost‑effective operations
Own product sustaining activities, including yield improvement, test time reduction, quality enhancement and cost reduction
Lead new product introduction (NPI) and ramp products to volume manufacturing
Partner with Manufacturing, Design, Quality and Failure Analysis teams to manage product excursions via MRB processes
Oversee engineering activities during NPI, including test flow development, EVT/DVT execution, buy‑off units and test readiness
Drive product ramp to yield entitlement and resolve margin issues with operations and development teams
Maintain effective working relationships with overseas counterparts, including China
Participate in or lead plant‑wide, cross‑functional initiatives
Set section goals and lead the team to achieve operational and technical objectives
Train, develop and retain engineering talent
Perform additional duties as assigned

Profile

A successful Product Engineering Manager should have:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 8 years' relevant experience in semiconductor product or test engineering
Strong knowledge of semiconductor digital device testing concepts and manufacturing processes
Hands‑on experience in product definition, yield analysis, wafer processes and ATE/SLT test methodologies
Proven capability in NPI execution, product sustaining and yield ramp activities
Solid understanding of end‑to‑end operations and manufacturing environments
Strong programme and stakeholder management skills
Effective people leadership skills with the ability to build and maintain high‑performing teams
Fluent in spoken and written English; Mandarin is an added advantage
