Production Manager [Petrochemical NBR Latex Plant] - Banting

1. Ensure Safety, Health & Environmental Compliance
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing safety rules, promoting good housekeeping, and complying with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standards.

2. Optimize Production Process & Efficiency
Recommend and implement improvements in process flow, machine automation, and production parameters to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

3. Manage Quality & Troubleshooting
Monitor incoming, in-process, and outgoing material quality, analyze QA/QC feedback, and implement corrective actions to ensure product standards are met.

4. Lead, Train & Coordinate Workforce
Manage subordinates’ performance, ensure sufficient manpower, provide technical training, and coordinate smooth production operations.

5. Plan Maintenance & Support Audits
Oversee preventive maintenance and shutdown schedules, troubleshoot issues, and participate in internal and external audits and inspections.



What we are looking for:

Minimum 5 years of work experience in manufacturing environment.

Relevant work experience in polymer synthesis and petrochemical synthesis plant would be advantageous.

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Polymer, Petroleum) or equivalent.

Good command of English & Malay (spoken and written).

Good knowledge of process safety and personal safety.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
