PROJECT ENGINEER

About the role

We are seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team at Renikola Holdings Sdn Bhd. In this full-time role based in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre, you will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of our construction projects. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of project implementation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of construction projects

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient project delivery

Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules

Monitor project progress and identify and resolve any technical issues that arise

Ensure projects adhere to all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines

Prepare detailed reports and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team

Collaborate with the wider project management team to optimise processes and drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

5+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills

Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment

Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Familiar with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team and lead cross-functional projects

If you are an experienced Project Engineer who is eagerKey Responsibilities:

1.Project Support:

· Assist in the development and implementation of renewable energy projects from initiation to completion.

· Support project design, planning, and scheduling in collaboration with senior engineers.

· Conduct site visits to assess feasibility, collect data, and monitor progress.

2.Technical Responsibilities:

· Support Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for renewable energy systems.

· Support Analyze data and perform engineering calculations related to energy production, efficiency, and cost optimization.

· Support the selection and procurement of equipment and materials.

3.Collaboration & Coordination:

· Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

· Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and technical input.

· Ensure all activities comply with regulatory standards and safety guidelines.

4. Monitoring & Reporting:

· Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and propose solutions to address them.

· Prepare project reports, including technical documentation, cost estimates, and timelines.

5.Learning & Development:

· Stay updated on renewable energy trends, technologies, and industry standards.

· Take part in training and certifications as needed to support project demands.
